Marley has a tick!. I will show you how to remove a tick with just a paperclip. I’ve removed dozens of ticks this way on dogs and a couple on myself. One was on the back of my neck. That was fun.

Before suggesting alternative methods, please google "How NOT to remove a tick." It will save you some embarrassment. Please don't suggest "Just use your fingers." The paperclip method is simple, cheap, and much safer. If you can do it with just your fingers, great, but don't suggest it as a method to others. It runs the risk of infection and unnecessary visits to the vet. Also, for those of you who think the "head" did not come out: ticks don't have a true head. They have protruding, barbed mouth parts that embed in the skin. If you can see those, you got the whole thing out. Here is a close up of the tick in the last frame of the video. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v7keU343NYeacSoNL5XE7Yl8PXiSgE13/view?usp=sharing Marley says, "Thank you for watching."

Way better than tweezers! You are the best!

Maya says:

bobby pins also work

I’ve found that a piece of card stock also works. Just cut a tiny slim triangle on one end, slide the tick in the point of the triangle and twist. Works like a charm for the few times I’ve used it. Takes the head out and all. This paper clip technique looks much easier though

That dog's face is so adorable like a doll

Minxy Ayala says:

Heads up, do not twist the tick. It can leave the head behind and leave area irritated. Your support to pull lightly tell it let's go

Don't twist

Gacha gamer says:

Actually if you pull the tick with tweezers there will be blood and the tick's mouth might not get removed with the tick if the mouth is still in the skin it will cause an infection and it probably hurts when you pull the tick out so i suggest that you use salt and vinegar after 20 minutes the tick will come off on it's own if it still doesn't wait a little longer.
