VERY VERY HELPFUL!! My son's friend left his headlights on all night! My husband wasn't home and my two sons and their friends didn't know how to jump start the car so I looked in my van and found the jumper cables and I went on You Tube and punched in how to jump start a car and yours was the first one to come up. It was my first time doing this and I LOVED LOVED how you explained EVERY step and the tips you added were helpful and good to know!! THANK YOU THANK YOU! I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW AWESOME YOU ARE!
You are a life saver my friend. Car was gonna get Towed and couldn’t figure out how to get it on
Haven't needed to jump a battery for many many years. Great video, needed a refresh education just in case I did get stranded one day. Guess I should also purchase a portable battery starter device too. Thanks.
Great video
I’ve never had someone yell at me so hard for attempting to put a ground on my struts. Thumped my head bro
This was a really good video
Thanks! Big help! My car wasn’t starting so I reved up wife’s car while she started mine. It worked!
I’m
Back because I still have the same question. I thought you’re supposed to remove the cables in reverse order?
I watched the whole video wondering how to jump the car with the portable jumper, then he gets to it at the end and it looks WAY easier 😂
When should I turn off the good battery car??
If you want to find ground just look down, you're walking on it!!))0)
I thought you are not supposed to have both cars running at the same time. maybe it's ok for older cars and not ok for newer cars? I don't know.
don't know if starting the bad car while the cables are attached to the good car and the good car is running is a good idea. you could destroy the alternator by doing it this way. let the bad battery charge for 2 minutes, disconnect the cables and start the car. electricity is witchcraft so be very wary when dealing with it.
Because I didn't turn off the car and the light was on, my battery died while I was waiting for my friend. Fortunately, my other friend showed up without even planning (the funny thing is that we were all traveling to Rochester for our college project and he wanted to go on his car while I and the other were traveling on my car). I then tried to start the car because I thought I saw my friend and would pick him up and leave, but the battery was dead. So, I tried using my starter kit, but it didn't work because the charge had run out. I was at a loss as to what to do, but miraculously, one of my friends showed up at the college parking lot. It's funny that he lives closer to Rochester than I do, so I'm not sure why he came since he had intended to go alone. He then said that he had jumper wire, so we used it. We put red on both the positive and negative ends of his and my cars, with black on the positive and other metal objects on the negative, and for mine. The car wouldn't start when I tried to start it. I then questioned whether we shouldn't use the negative of a dead battery in place of the metal object, and he said that the previous time he had done so, it had melted. I'm at a speechless. Another friend eventually showed up, which I was waiting for, and he instructed us to use the dead battery's negative instead of metal. We did this, and when I turned on my car, it started right away. Can anybody explain this to me because I don't get it? In the video clearly said not to put negative on good battery with negative of dead battery, we did that exactly(was afraid something bad was gonna happen😂😂😂) but it started not even in sec. So hard to understand
Very good video
