First day of 2023 and I just finished watching the trilogy again. I have this kind of tradition of watching them during new year’s days. They bring so many fond memories, great feelings, and most importantly to me, they bring hope! Best way to start the new year! Nothing can be even compared to this trilogy. ❤

2023, for Mordor, substitute the word Russia, and for Gondor or Rohan, use Ukraine. For Orcs, use the word Russians, for heroes use the word Ukrainians. For Putin, use Sauron, for Aragorn, use Zelensky.
Imagine being an orc in the first lines and you see a pissed off Elessar charging at you with a legendary sword that basically doomed your lord.

I love the moment – 2:14 – where Gandalf sort of tries to "dispel" Sauron's "Charm spell" on Aragorn who replies with that little smirk as :"No need for that". Awesome.
